First of all it’s so hard to get one on the phone. It took me 8 times and each time I waited over 15 minutes and I had to leave a voice message. I didn’t receive a call back. After my doctor sent them a message they finally called me back and I could make an appointment. On the day when I had my appointment the first nurse was very kind and everything went smoothly. The staff is ok, but the wait for call backs is days or weeks. This business is terribly mismanaged. People get imaging because they are ill, in most cases. I’ve been waiting 3 weeks to speak with a human to schedule a follow up test for a serious issue. My request was ordered by my Dr. I waited for a cal. Nothing. I called and left a message. 3 days later they called when I couldn’t pick up. I called back within 10 Minutes and that was 2 days ago. Nothing.
Setup an appointment over three weeks in advance in order to save up for the cost. I received a voicemail telling me to total cost for the entire procedure. When I showed up to the appointment I was told it was going to be more than double the cost. I played them the voicemail of their own employee and they said it doesn’t matter this is what it costs and if you don’t pay it, we will send you to collections.
They truly have some kind Angels working at River City Imaging in New Braunfels on Common. Went there last Friday for an MRI of my knee. Jana and Toni, The radiology tech's, were so kind and patient. So considerate of my feelings and fears. Especially the tech who came in the room with me. Thank you again for the work you all do, appreciate you!
Walked right in for an ankle xray on Thursday and MRI on Friday evening. Appreciated after business hours! Excellent, professional staff. Super helpful in both the 46 and Common St. Locations. Highly recommend.
