I had a very disappointing experience with River City Image Works. All I asked for was a simple enlargement of a 4×6 photo to an 8×10. Before bringing it in, I specifically asked if the photo was clear enough to enlarge without restoration, because I did not want the image altered at all. Ken assured me it would be fine. When I received my invoice, there was a $35 restoration fee that I never asked for or approved. Even worse, the photo was clearly edited.
