I was with River City for over 20 years. The service declined horribly. The hours shortened to where I couldn't go to the bank if I needed to. 9-4 M-F. Those arent even banker hours...That might not be an issue with banks that offer deposit by check picture and current day technology, but River City doesn't. They also took the ATM out of the branch location, so if you make a deposit in the drop box there is no proof. When we closed the account they didn't say a word or ask why! The Elk Grove location is usually Slow ( not many Clients) Tellers are usually not in a hurry mode! They have a DRIVE UP but closed it down for a couple of years! Wish they would re open it!
I have been with River City Bank since 1998. It has always been a nice local bank to visit with easy in and out. Unfortunately things have been changing over the years First drive through with an ATM closes which is helpful in bad weather or with children in the car, then they closed Saturdays, then close at 4. I am not happy after 25 years that I have to take off my sunglasses which are prescription every time I go in. It’s annoying. Even BofA doesn’t make you do that.
