I've been really disappointed with Yellow Bus ABA. My son was in ABA there for three months, and he missed at least 10 days because they "couldn't find coverage." They told us that our son was "hitting friends"; however, when I asked for more information, they said he hasn't hurt anyone, but they've started tracking hitting. This is very concerning because we were told he hit a "friend" . Why was hitting added to the treatment plan if he hasn't hit someone? My child can do things that weren’t possible for him before getting ABA therapy. Our family has peace in the home. He can manage his emotions. His conduct scores were an E at school after getting ABA. it changed our life. Staff were amazing, kind, patient, and taught us the skills we needed to be the best parents to our son. It was truly life changing.

Don’t send your non white child to this racist place. River City ABA -Powhatan. Treat kids horribly And yes. I have heard such remarks from staff. They thought I wasn’t listening

We have had our son here since the beginning of this year and what an amazing experience. Every single person in this building genuinely loves these kids that walk through this door. This is a group of caring, well educated and trained people who are there to support you and your family 100% from your RBT all the way to the owner. Every day our son is there he is so excited to see his RBTs. Other than his family River City has been his biggest cheerleaders.
