Nice atmosphere and good food I've only eaten in the bar but the food was excellent, as was the recommended wine. The fireplace adds a nice touch, as does the outdoor seating (in warm weather, obviously). A good place to grab a bite before the movie.
Riva knows how to put the spice into italian food. What a treat for Satuit to have such a great restaurant in town.
Best vegetable lasagna!
They seem unprepared for customers on a Monday night. But with nearly every other resto in town closed (we tried three others before settling here), I don't see how they could (should?) be.

Dear lord get the braised short ribs.
braised short-ribs dish is awesome.
When my husband and I go out to dinner I always suggest Rivas! It's like a little "North End Italian Cafe" on the South Shore. Excellent menu and great atmosphere. The bar in the back is really fun and cozy - a great place to have a drink and wait to be seated. In the summer the outdoor seating is the best! Highly recommend this Scituate Harbor night spot!
The soup at this place is amazing!
