Yummy! I love this place! The texture of this ice cream (frozen custard) is so unbelievable! Not too soft, which is perfect. They make their custard fresh so everyday they have a few special flavors (in addition to vanilla and chocolate). They also have a park for kids to play in after eating their ice cream. On Tuesday evenings, they also have a kids night (free entertainment).
Frozen custard, not ice cream.... I personally am not a frozen custard fan, but my husband and children rave about it. We live only a few blocks from there, so you can imagine we visit quite often. The prices are good and the assortment of flavors is excellent. You can get everything from a cone to a sundae. They recently added a small play area behind the shop that's lovely for the kids, and tables with umbrellas make it a nice place to sit and enjoy your treat. Phenominal I have only been there once, but it is amazing. I love the setup of the shop and the product is amazing as well. they have every topping imaginable, and the custard is sooo smooth and creamy..
Ritters has great frozen custard I always enjoy a family outing to Ritters for a cone of frozen custard. It is delicious. The store is family run, and the service is friendly. It is a nice place to take a break in the hot summer and cool off.
good but WAY too expensive Ritters it neat to go to because it is all outside, you just get served at a window and they have a lot of nice tables and benches, but it is really expensive. I think it's about $5 for a sundae. The custard is good, but I'd just as soon get a $1 ice cream cone from McDonalds. They do have a Dog's Night out where dogs get free custard, it's always busy.
