It is too expensive and must be getting harder to justify the prices as more shopping alternatives are coming to Brunswick.

My experience has been great with the pharmacy. The staff has never screwed up my order and when they are short they have provided a partial Rx to hold us over until they get their order. They also get after me about the flu shot and other vaccinations. I am the typical person who avoids them but the last 5 years they have kept me up to date.

As of now, July 2017, the makeover given to this store by new owner Walgreens have greatly reduced the former store's wonderful collection of 5 and dime goodies like school supplies, light bulbs, shoe maintenance items, etc. The new arrangement carries more cosmetics and has added an entire wall of cold and freezer cases . There are less medical supplies than there used to be, as all the shelves have been lowered at least 2 feet. The pharmacy is still well managed by Celestine, Donna and company. Wish I could leave no stars! They basically insinuated my husband and I weren’t smart enough to know we need the flu shot. Then after going through all this discussion and paperwork, it wasn’t free at all like they promoted, but was going to cost over $100. At our next visit, we found out that store just doesn’t have a contract to accept Medicaid. I know for a fact there are plenty of folks in this area that rely on their Medicaid to get their medications. It’s a horrible disservice to your community to not accept this form ... read more
