I recently made a purchase from this company and it was my first time doing business with them and they were so nice and helpful from the office staff to the yard staff. They were right there to assist me with all my needs. They treated me really good. They assisted me hitching up my trailer and saw to it I had everything I needed Sterling Auto Sales LLC
Drivers - If picking up from here, call ahead and ask if your required to have additional equipment before loading. You need a harness apparently to load a boom lift (makes sense from a safety standpoint, but this is the ONLY Ritchie Bros I've picked up from that has that requirement)
On Monday, January 19th, I was at this place and received terrible treatment from two of the four employees who were working at the front. I needed help unloading a forklift, and when I asked for gas to start it, the young man and the woman behaved very rudely and even made faces. They were on their cell phones the whole time, ignoring all the questions I needed to ask. The auction was set up nicely. However, when we were bidding on line the pictures were not clear in terms of what you were exactly bidding on. I had the opportunity to ask and the man and he told me. We paid and went to pick it up and another employee said it was only have of what I thought I paid for. They did offer to cancel the sale but we wanted what we purchased. The truck has many more miles than what was stated and was in really poor shape and looked like it had been on fire and their wasn't any pictures of that. Very disappointed.
