Great change of pace Great place to cool off after a round of golf. Pleanty of flavors and options. Cheap prices, friendly service and clean atmosphere. Give them a try and make sure you pick up a frequent customer card, because after one visit, you will be hooked.
So many flavors This is my sisters absolutely favorite place ever! They have the best stuff ever. They have so many different flavors and choices and is a clean place to sit and eat.
Rita's is good This place has good custard ice cream especially the coffee flavor which comes in once a while.The new blended coffee is also great for the taste bud .
Excellent! If you like water ice then try Rita's. There are several locations throughout the tri-state area. They offer many different flavors and sell several other items such as gelatis, mistos and pretzels. They also sell ice cream.
Rita's Water Ice This is a nice place to go for a cheap and enjoyable dessert. My husband and I will often make a short trip after dinner for some water ice and ice cream. It's a great store.
Why don't these exist in CA? I am from CA and had to move to DE in order to taste one of the most refreshing icy desserts I've ever had. I've often thought, why don't these exist in CA, they'd make a ton of money. Rita's Water Ice is so refreshing. My husband loves the real thing -- lemon. I love green apple and mango. There is some new mystery flavor -- I'm guessing mixed berry -- which is so delicious. I can't even imagine having to tell anyone in DE about Rita's as they are everywhere. AWESOME!!! I just want to clarify the last review. The italian ice made there is not your typical shaved ice. It is not crushed by a machine an then have syrup poured over it. It is made in a machine and it comes out very nice and smooth! Much better than snow cones!!!! And the old fashioned frozen custard is the creamiest and best tasting soft serve around! You need to give it a try!!
Summer Paradise! Rita's is better then your traditional ice cream stand. They have Italian Ice, Geltos (shaved ice with custard), frozen cream ice (the fudge brownie is the BEST) and frozen custard. My favorite is the vanilla frozen custard, although when it gets REALLY hot, the italian ice is the way to go. If you like soft serve, you should try the frozen custard.
