This location is amazing, and all the workers are fantastic. There was an older lady there who was incredible with my boys. Excellent store, clean, bright, and always a happy place.
I would normally not take the time to write a disparaging review on a place with such a great product, but I’ve had an issue with the service on multiple occasions now. There is an older woman with shoulder length salt & pepper hair who could not make one feel less welcome. I’m sure we’ve all come across someone who we all know does not belong in the custom service aspect of a business and this woman is the epitome of that. The lemon Italian ice is possibly the most refreshing thing in the whole of McHenry. Really. Nice selection of ices and ice cream. Tables inside and outside. Clean with cool decor. Friendly staff.
