Earned 1 one star on the basis that I had to select a star status. We arrived to the location prior to closing, we were in line behind what we believed to be 2 patrons. However, after 5 minutes we came to realize that these were friends of the employees. They were chatting about what they were going to be doing for the remainder of the night and if they were going to be watching the fight that evening. Asked for a Sunday for my wife with no cherries got all custard lol. The boy fixed it but he wasn’t listening. The real issue I had was watching multiple families with kids come up to the window just after me at 9pm to only find out the boys working turning off the open sign and closed 40+ minutes early. I didn't like that. It says they are open till 10pm on Google. They 100% turned the sign off and put the blinds down while a customer was pulling up. It was exactly 9pm when I took this picture. Why was this establishment locked two hours before closing? I understand wanting alone time when cleaning the store maybe 30 mins before closing time but two whole hours before to avoid customers is kinda crazy. AND these boys made eye contact with us
I love to come to Rita’s but almost every time I do they don’t have what I want to order. This has happened multiple times now. It’s unfortunate for the staff because I feel they loss potential tip money.
