Could not recommend. I had high hopes for Rita and her office when I began treatment for multiple tick-borne illnesses. This practice advertises itself as “Lyme-literate” but based on my experience, that claim feels misleading and financially driven. I had only one initial consultation, (& my full history was never completed), limited in-office labs, and was then prescribed several months of two antibiotics. Went here 10 years ago, and while I do believe there is good intent in this practice, there is alot of misinfo at play. Now that I am a scientist with immunology knowledge I see how serological testing is misrepresented leading to unnecessary treatment. I had a positive IgG antibody titer for lyme but no characteristic symptoms nor knowledge of being bit by a tick (likely occurred years prior)This result usually indicates prior infection that does not call for antibiotic treatment.
