Nice for drinks and tapas upstairs then coffee and desert downstairs
I had my daughter’s baby shower at MV on Aug 22. There was not one guest (I had 50) that didn’t rave about the food, the atmosphere, the service and the attention from the Matre’d Mike. Everything was beyond my expectations! I have eaten there prior to this occasion and all of the above applies for a regular night out dinner as well. I highly recommend this restaurant! You will not be disappointed.
Authentic Italian food like you get in Brooklyn in NJ where most Italian restaurants are Albanian Italian. For Italian Italian go to MV. The tavern upstairs is great and has great bartenders Ian, Eric and Barb are fantastic and the manager Andrew is a great guy. Food is spectacular !
Beautiful restaurant, authentic Italian, and great service!
Some dishes were good, but most were not great. The bread basket was mediocre, white bread was fresh, but dark bread was stale, focaccia did not look good at all. pasta Bolognese was good. Chicken Parm was not good at all with the sauce too acidic and thick chicken cutlet separated from the crust. Squid ink pasta with Scallops: scallops were very good but squid ink pasta was flavorless. Expected a lot from this place based on the reviews but left disappointed.
