Went out on Saturday night to celebrate wedding anniversary. I have no problem with paying for expensive food but it should be good food. I believe in “you get what you pay for.” Unfortunately, the food here was barely average. We started off with a simple shrimp cocktail and that was average. My boyfriend and I were celebrating our anniversary at LUCCA’s Piano Lounge. This restaurant is Fantastic. Service was excellent. Miguel F was our waiter and is highly knowledgeable of the food, very engaging with customers and really made you feel welcomed. The whole atmosphere was wonderful. We definitely will be returning and highly recommending this restaurant.
Fresh, delicious pasta. Other dishes receive attention to detail you expect of a night out. Beautiful atmosphere and when the opportunity presents, sit near the piano.
When we made the reservation on Open Table there was no mention of a dress code. When we arrived there we were rudely told that jeans weren’t allowed. My teenage daughter felt very uncomfortable the way the Maitre’D looked at her attire. As we were about to leave, the manager made an “accommodation” and seated us. We reluctantly went in.
