The food was terrible. Extremely disappointing. I ordered the grouper with pasta--awful. The fish was so band and swimming in butter sauce with no taste. Th pasta sauce was awful. I then ordered a veal dish--so tough I could not cut it with a steak knife. I was with friends so didn't want to make a scene. The chef is not Italian--get a chef who is.
What a fantastic dining experience at Ristorante Farfalla! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, elegant, and inviting, and the service was attentive without being intrusive. The salmon Livornese was absolutely outstanding—perfectly cooked, fresh, flaky, and topped with a vibrant sauce that was bursting with flavor. It was one of the best salmon dishes I’ve had.. Delicious food. Beautiful atmosphere. Our first visit but I admire how they greeted each regular by name.
The food is all made from scratch and cooked to order. The owner Micheal is a master chef and personally cooks your meals. A must try when in the Estero area.
