What a terrific, educational, informative and relaxing trip. Captain Claire was knowledgeable and personable. This is the best way to get an up close look at the various birds that inhabit the Rookery estuary. Highly recommend!
We had an amazing experience, our guides sierra and Kyle were knowledgeable, friendly and very versed in the ecosystem we were in. Our group consisted of 4 we used 1 two person and 2 single kayaks, the kayaks are sit on and have great seating positions and good back support. We kayaked through pristine waters into the mangroves. We stopped periodically to learn about some of the plants, trees and other wild life. Sunscreen,sunglasses and a hat are a must. Return guests to Riding Tide Explorers for a sunset rookery cruise, a wonderful learning experience (especially for bird lovers). Our Captain Winston was knowledgeable, interesting and fun! We saw an incredible number of birds flying to nest in the rookery for the night. Highly recommend this cruise and company.
Highly educated guides take you out for an hour or an hour and a half through mangroves and tell you what you’re seeing and where to look for things. We really enjoyed it.
