Rising sun did an excellent job from start to finish! Their Sales person Brooke is very knowledgeable and customized our system to our specific needs while maximizing tax benefits and system efficiency. Ryan the project manager (also very knowledgeable) streamlined the timeline to get the system installed within our required dates. My experience is all positive. Good information about the product, good product, good support after purchase.
6 years ago I selected Rising Sun Solar to install a system at my home in Kona. The install was successful without incident until it wasn't. When I arrived in January 2024 the system was down and both the LG Chem battery and Solar Edge inverter were shot. It took 7 months to resolve these problems and I'm still not sure things are fixed because the solar array isn't communicating. Sad to write this review as I really tried to find a resolution. Customer service blew it. It was clearly agreed before we signed a contract that the purchase of my system would include the removal of the old panel on my roof which powered only my hot water heater. I paid $40k upfront, waited months for the install. When the new system was installed, the workers took down the old panel but didn’t connect the hot water heater to the main house electricity so for a month we’ve had no hot water. Rising Sun did a fantastic job. They were always on time, professional, and made sure everything was clean when they were finished. They were always quick to respond to any question asked. I am very pleased with our solar and how the install turned out. If you want solar, go with Rising Sun!
