Worse failed surgery ever seen according to a top nuerosurgon at Pacific Medical Center, "Always, get a second opinion, if your Dr. Wont refer to a second opinion, run for help !!!!!!! If you ever have to have a lower lumbar surgery where he goes in thru back and stomach, stay away from him, he will do damage. They need to have a review on how many hospitals he has lost his privileges.

Dr. Wadhwa is an excellent neurosurgeon. He did a minimally invasive microdiscectomy I would truly recommend him. He is one of the best neurosurgeon in his field. He takes the time to explain everything in detail.

I have had arthritic problems with my spine for many years. After two other neurosurgeons at UCSF declined to perform surgery because of the severity of the issues, they referred me to Dr. Wadhwa. He had specialized education in newer procedures. In 2015 Dr. Wadhwa did a lower lumbar fusion, cyst removal and disc reconstruction. Then in 2017 he did a cervical spine procedure. Both were successful and the stabbing pain and numbness I was having is gone. He explained every step of the process, and was professional in every way... read more

He talked me through all the different surgical options in detail, pros and cons of all, talked through alternate non surgical options, talked through the different types of implant devices, which helped me make the best decision for my situation. The surgery went really well, and he was very attentive, excellent bedside manner, very caring and just generally a really nice guy. He spent time with my mom and girlfriend explaining everything to the... read more

Dr. Wadhwa gave me my life back. Late in 2016 I began to suffer the painful and debilitating effects of a compressed sciatic nerve. It affected my lower back, left leg & foot. There were times I could not leave the house for days on end. At first Dr. Wadhwa recommended alternative methods to alleviate the problem. In his opinion surgery is the last resort. Unfortunately surgery was required in my case. Dr. Wadhwa successfully performed the procedure at MGH. He followed through on my recovery several times. I have not had any... read more
