Here’s how THE nicest DO gets a 1 star: My menopause was pretty unremarkable. 8 years ago and just last April I asked for a hormone panel. “WHY?” She asks. Because they’re important. I would like to check my levels because a,b, c. She said: No, you’re just getting older, things change.” SO, DO smartpants. I went to a men’s health and weight- loss clinic. I asked THEM for a women’s hormone panel and all my other bloodwork. I had so few hormones (estrogen testosterone, progesterone) they barely registered. Turns out I did not ... read more
