I grew up stuttering and was in speech therapy partially when I was very young and then for a few years in high school. After being at Texas A&M for two years I decided I should pick speech therapy back up again, a scary decision but I knew it would be good for me. My little one loved going to see Ms Lynette! She made learning so fun that he’d run down the hall waving bye as soon as he saw her! Even if he had never learned a thing - that right there was enough for me! However Lynette is extremely good at her job so in no time my toddler was talking up a storm! After months of struggling to remember significant events and feeling frozen when faced with simple analytical problems after a head injury, I finally found the help I needed at Rise. Within two months I was remembering even the smallest of moments and could calculate simple math problems so much more easily. I highly recommend Rise! I have been living so much better ever since!
Mrs. Childs worked with our daughter over the summer and she made so much progress in her speech and is more confident. Mrs. Childs made speech fun by playing games & her warm demeanor made my shy daughter quickly warm up to her. My daughter was sad to “graduate” from speech because she enjoyed her weekly visit so much. I highly recommend Rise Speech Therapy!
