Unfortunately I do not recommend Rise PT I have been a PT patient off and on for years ( can compare with fairness). This PT is extremely busy and over crowded. There are way too many people in this single room. (If you have any immune issues you may want to wear a mask.) My PT is working on no less than 3 other patients at once. This is very frustrating with someone who needs attention. My PT doesn’t even understand my medical history even after reminding her multiple times. Homework is usually standard practice with PT. Very experienced hand physical therapist
So I walk in with my daughter so she can get a splint for her pinky after her surgery. I was referred by first state. I stand there for 5 minutes as 3 people at the desk say nothing. Finally a lady comes from the back and says can I help you. I tell her the reason I’m here and she immediately hands me a form for financial responsibility. We gotta get some better places for services. The energy in this place was off target!!! Sad.
I injured my pointer finger about 4 months ago. My orthopedist office recommended Rise pt. They offered hand therapy in their Newark office. I was so happy I chose this practice. They are so helpful and thorough. I cannot express enough how much I love it here. If I ever need any physical therapy, I'm definitely returning. Thank you to all the staff, especially Maureen and Michelle!
