My wife spent almost 5 months at Rise Disciplship Women’s Home. She has been transformed by the home and a relationship with Jesus. I understand that it’s not easy to take people in that you don’t know but they are available to take in men and women who are addicted to drugs and alcohol. I’m glad the doors were open and available for my wife. Thanks Rise Ministries
Update: I confirmed the Rise Discipleship Homes are not licensed by the state of Texas and are being illegally operated. The city of Abilene is aware of this and allows it to go on. Please do not donate to these homes. Bad things are happening to people and it’s all being covered up by local authorities. I was the Operations Director and a member of the 3 person Executive Leadership Team at Rise Church for 2.5 years. Rise Church lacks ethical leadership and financial accountability.
