I have seen a number of therapists over the years, but Risa is far and away the best. She not only is an empathetic listener, but she routinely provides you with tools and strategies that enable you to deal with the situations you present to her. Risa has profoundly helped me strengthen all of my relationships--those with my partner, children, friends, and family--and for that I am ever grateful. I would recommend her without hesitation to anyone.

I was reluctant to do couples therapy for the simple fact that I thought my voice would not be heard and my wife would have all the say. Well I was wrong, Risa allowed both me and my wife to speak about what brought us to therapy and she tailored a plan that allowed us to voice our feelings in a safe space and about two years in, we have learned how to communicate better during disagreements and have been given the tools to navigate any issues that might arise without having to see Risa weekly. There are no words to describe all that Risa Simpson-Davis has done to save/improve my marriage, but I am going to make my best attempt... I reached out to Risa upon learning of my husband's infidelity. My husband and I worked with Risa for couples counseling and it was so incredibly helpful. She taught us specific tools to use with each other and helped us to better understand each other. I truly believe she saved our marriage. Since our relationship significantly improved, couples counseling was no longer needed and I started working with Risa individually. She is a wonderful therapist and great at what she does. I highly recommend!
