Don’t get me wrong. The gardens are beautiful. The Rip van Winkle house was closed for renovation, but the person taking tickets in the gift shop must’ve been having the worst day of their life. Extremely cold and rude complaining about other customers to me. Warning me that “ I’m leaving here on time today or I will lock you in and then it’s up to you”. Beautiful gardens and fascinating information on the home tour done by a real person who was very friendly.
Rachel is ruining your business. Someone as rude as her should not be allowed to be the face of your business. I’d bet 100’s won’t return due to her rudeness alone. Very sad because it’s a beautiful place but the customer service absolutely kills it. Was promised free passes to make up for it and guess what never came lol.
