Shame to NOVA - unscrupulous! Negative image: This corporation is the most unscrupulous organization I have ever dealt with. A non existent customer service by design is apparent. Being very active in the NOVA community, I will make sure my horrific experience is shared with every individual and organiztion I know - especially if they are - or considering becoming members. My largest client is also your client and be assured:that membership is not being renewed. Shameful that an organization like your is in our community!
sport and health is evil They are evil company. They do whatever they can to charge fees. They never return phone call. Often. the woman's bathroom stinks of poop. The toilets have poop marks. So gross. Machines always break down and they never fix for long time. They put signs up, "Will fix by X date" and when X date comes, they put a new sign, "Will fix by Y date." Towels are so dirty and have stains.
Pathetic Organization, Pathetic Service, Pathetic Gym This is the epitome of a 'screw you' organization. I signed up for a membership for 1 year, which expired in November of '09. I was sure to cancel my membership at the front desk before moving to Texas in Dec of 09.
awful customer service Like many other gyms out there, this place is geared towards signing up as many people by whatever means necessary, not towards giving a good value. The membership councilors are sleazy and underhanded and will say anything to sign you up. After a couple months, you will realize that you are paying more than you agreed to. The equipment is old, the locker rooms are dirty, the classes are overcrowded, the staff is unfriendly and unhelpful.
New General Manger's Power Trip Ruins Gym Profit above service. The Sauna and steam rooms are always out of service. I needed a towel for the pool and they gave me a hand towel telling me it was a new policy not to give out towels. The headphone jacks on all of the equipment no longer function properly. My wife told me that in the woman's showers many of the stalls aren't working and women are forced to stand in lines waiting for the showers. The equipment is old and out dated. When I brought these concerns up with general m... read more
What was once a nice gym has become a total disaster We've had a family membership for several years and we actually use it quite a bit - aerobic, squash and swimming. It seems that two years ago or so management changed, and is now all about profit. There are constant membership drives. Rather than buying enough towels, they keep having various rationing schemes, the latest a totally insulting "Amnesty week", which seemed to indicate that until people return towels there will be even less availability. The last several time... read more
Does not meet expectations I completely disagree with the previous posts. When I first joined there were constant membership drives offering free weekends for anyone to try out the club. This was overfilling an already oversold membership quota. Space when using the showers and locker rooms was cramped and always packed with people, not to mention the unpleasant smells. Towels are no longer offered and must now bring your own. And if you like to lap swim, forget it. The tiny pool always has some sort of aquatics program. So,... read more
excellent Probably, this si one of the best in town.I hop in there on my way to work. The music along with the various equipments available are too good.I'm encouraging my brother to drop in there too as i'm really excited about this work out.the swimming pool and indoor sports club , everything is just amazing. It's just the right way to start your day.
Possibly The Best Gym Around They have a wide array of workout equipment from machines to free weights. What tops this gym off is the addition of a swimming pool and basketball court. This truly dominates over the nearby gyms (Kentlands Bally's and Gold's Gym on the Pike). The racquet ball courts are also a great plus to this gym. The membership fees are slightly steep, but they do give you guest passes to bring in your friends (aka potential new members). The personal traininers are helpful and friendly, even when they are ... read more
