We purchased the Firefly attachment to be used for camping this summer on my partner's manual wheelchair. The concept of the attachment is a good one and once the firefly was properly attached, it worked mostly as intended. Some things of note: 1) You will need help setting up and installing the Firefly attachment. The box it came in was heavy and the the motorized component is quite heavy as well. Truly life changing! I have been a manual wheelchair user for 40+ years. The level of independence I have achieved with this machine was something I have dreamed of forever. I'm a c6 quad. I can attach and unattach ithe firefly in seconds. I modified my quickie 2 lite with swing away footrests by switching the footrest release levers from one side to the other.
This review is based on customer service and not the attachment. We had a battery emergency in Europe and reached out to support to get a new battery rushed. It was not outlined clearly in the manual that we would need a specific EU charger to match the appropriate voltage in the outlets there. It took a couple days for anyone to get back to us.
