RGVHS in the city of Harlingen, used to be a great place. They had low cost spay and neuter some 10 yrs ago, 10.00 to 15.00 per pet. They'd bathe your pets once a month on a Saturday. They offered low cost microchip, vaccines and flea and tick, heartworm medications. Then the city of Harlingen jumped in. Accusations of misallocated funds arose. From that point on RGVHS went down the tubes. They moved to a warehouse where they can't help anyone. They'll send you to Markowsky and God knows what happens to the animals you take ... read more

We found a baby kitty that was taking a ride underneath my vehicle, my daughter took her in to this location and they turned her away... eden she returned to the car with the kitty who appeared dehydrated/ lethargic, I tried calling to see why they wouldn't take her in while I was in the parking lot looking through their window.. 2 people up front and nobody answered.. I cakes 5 times and let it ring and nothing.. so disappointing.. we had to take it upon ourselves to find a home for this baby kitty.. they need to do better.... read more
I call and call and nobody ever answers either number they have. Very unprofessional. If I could I with not give them any stars!
