The good: The pool itself is impressive, plenty of open lap lanes, lots of space to spread out, and a unique perk of being right next to the zoo, where you can catch glimpses of nearby exhibits. The bad: The lifeguard staff showed an alarming level of disengagement and attitude. I watched a child actively struggling in the water, clearly unable to swim, and a lifeguard later admitted she saw it happening and chose not to intervene. Apparently walkins are no longer welcome you have to buy tickets. This sucks!
Nice pool and facilities, large trees and plenty of shade to go around. Backs up to the zoo.
The best pool in ABQ. Lovely cottonwood shade. Restrooms are fine!
