The vibe was promising upon entry, but did not live up to the expectations. The roast beast sandwich had melted cheese but cold roast beef deli meat on an old chabatta bun. The pastrami sandwich wasn’t any betyer, and it was greasy. Prices were high for the quality of food we received. $5 ice tea with no refills?? It wasn’t like we asked for a free refill of a curated specialty coffee. It was just a plain iced tea. Definitely won’t return while we visit Chama.
Apparently, this is green chili on a sandwich.
I have been to this place many times and, I have to point out...best apple cinnamon scones anywhere. Seriously. No, I really mean anywhere.
A very welcome stop on our road trip. Really good almond croissant which I am a connoisseur of, really good blueberry cheese danish, and very good "hungry Hunter" bagel. Good homemade chai – not from a box from the grocery store! Saved on my maps to return next time we're in the area!
