I am so tired of going to restaurants and the food being adequate. We decided to try Rio BRAZOS Grill as we had heard good things. We were greated by Jen, who warmly thanked us for coming. We celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary here with dinner. The drinks are refreshingly creative. I lived the appetizers and dinner was incredible. No specifics as the menu does change with the season. Love Rio Brazos Grill.
Now I understand why all of the hype about this restaurant. Finally got to go last night and it was everything I'd heard about. Cynthia was phenomenal and is a true connoisseur of fine dining. We took her suggestions and got the Baked Oysters, Beet Salad and Cowboy Ribeye, all excellent. Drinks were tasty, too. The place was slammed, but everyone was taken care of. I will be back!
The food was wonderful! I had the red snapper, and others at our table had the chicken fried ribeye steak, smoked pork chop, and shrimp and crab linguine. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. The service and attention to detail made the experience even better. We especially appreciated the pacing of the meal. We never felt rushed from one course to the next. Just terrible 🤣🤣 Fine dining?? Yeah, I don’t think so. We ordered quail , meatloaf and desert pecan “pie”. From the quail there was two tiny slices of beef rd with lots rice, do essentially maybe 40 grams of meat , but with lids green beans and river of mushrooms, meatloaf was 🤷♀️ not tasty , and star of the evening became is pecan thing, so it literally peaches from a can on skillet with loads of powder sugar mixed with oats 🤷♀️, not washed oats, not baked oats, just oats from a bag , it’s was like earth cardboard wit... read more
