About this business

Rino's Place brings to you one of Europe's most favorite cuisine. It is usually visited by families and is crowded by dusk. A few delicious dishes guests can order are Di Mozzarella Panini, Pollo e Melazane Parmigiano. One can host their parties at the restaurant and treat their guests to traditional Italian Cuisine. The interiors of the restaurant are similar to the inside of a train giving it a diner in a train feel to the guests.

Italian at its best – The great part is the food. Everything we tried, which is most of the menu after 4 visits by 4 of us has been as good as it gets. Someone has to order the Lobster Ravioli. Another fav is the pork chop. The only neg. is the absurd wait. Weekends is 2 hrs and not really a great walking neighborhood. They did just open a bar across the street.

Great little Italian place – I haven't sampled a lot of the menu items, but what I have tried was very good (and well priced, especially compared to Boston proper). The gnocchi were very light and tasty and the lobster fritters were excellent with large chunks of lobster meat and a nice coating. Now that it has been shown on The Food Network it seems more crowded, but I think it is worth dealing with the people for the excellent food.

Overpriced Garbage... – This place is a tourist trap. Everything was overpriced and the service was horrible. The food was ok, but not worth the price. What a joke!

Business response:

You just can not get fresher than this! – Everything is fresh (sometimes that includes the staff -- especially Vera!) and that is a good thing. A very well balanced Italian menu. Clean space. Decent wine selections. Desserts are available. It is worth finding it (located in a residential neighborhood).

Hidden Gem – An adventure to find, but well worth it. Tiny place with a big heart. Puts most North End places to shame. The homemade pasta is a must and should be asked for. On the way in, you can hear the pounding ,as they pound each veal dish to order. Service is a little slow, but once you are sitting, it is a nice place to spend time. The wine list is adequate and will not break the bank. Not fancy, but homey and well worth the trip for excellent italian . Always check the specials... seems to be the most creative part o... read more

Service – Horrible service. Went in on A Monday night, it took ten minutes to put Silverware on table, 20 minotes for male waiter to ask us if we wanted something to drink. Heard from associayes that it was good fare. Would never even think of going back. You get better service at McDonalds.

Best Italian Food in Eastie – I've gone to Rino's a few times now. It is a small restaurant in the middle of a residential area, pretty unassuming from the outside. On weekends, there is often a group of people waiting to get in, which is usually a sign of a good restaurant. It is well worth the wait. The staff is polite, the food is incredible, and the prices are reasonable. Also, it has a nice neighborhood-feel, more comfortable than some of the tony restaurants downtown. I highly recommend it.

East Boston does it again... – Along with one of other favorites, Santarpio's, Rino's serves nothing but the best, right in East Boston. It is amazing to me that this place is not on the map for Boston Dining. I have had everything on their menu; many of them more then once. They have a great wine list that features affordable wines that will only enhance the already delicious food. Every time I go, I feel happy because I will be treated right by the staff and served dishes I look forward to; all while being charged a very r... read more
