service department is misleading
In the 50 years I've owned a house and the first Rinnai hot water system it is by far the worst system I have had having the same major failure to the same hose in just over three years and severe rusting to the condenser in just three years and Rinnai have told me that the flaking severe rusting is normal and refuse to replace the unit.
