I specifically asked if he was insured, and he told me he was. Around the same time, he was doing work for my mother, who had already paid him. He originally said he would be there on Tuesday, but Tuesday turned into Wednesday, and Wednesday into Thursday, with excuse after excuse. Very nice people who are easy to work with! Great electrician!
The sheathing split on the electrical power cable above the meter. When it rained water was running down inside the cable through the meter and into the electrical service panel. I needed everything replaced from the DTE connection, including the meter and the electrical panel. I left a message for Dave at Riney Electric. He called me back the next day gave me a quote over the phone and was able to do the work in two days. Two electricians showed up on time and completed the work in three hours.
