Dr. Riner has been our rock through the postpartum phase. She helped carry my wife after delivering a sleepy baby at 40 weeks and held space for the full range of emotions that hit while navigating the IVF process. I don't know how we would've managed without her compassion, empathy, encouragement, advocacy, and overall emotional regulation skills and tools. Dr. Mary Catherine (Doc MC as I call her) has been an incredible psychologist to me! Struggling to find the right match was difficult, with a situation so unique, it was hard to find someone with a better understanding. I was going a no psychiatric/no medications route, that's where MC's specialized psychology comes in! Dr. Riner has been extremely helpful with my current situation. She has assisted greatly with my Veterans Affairs claims and is one of the very few dr/psychiatrists that has truly listened to my situation with an open mindset. So many of these VA appointments are people just checking a box, but Dr. Riner is not one of them she truly cares for her patients and the unique situations that they are in. Thank you!
