This is a great alternative to the chain Mexican places. The food is fresh, well prepared, well presented, and service is fast unless of course the place is slammed on a Friday, but that happens with all Boulder restaurants. Even the house margarita is really good. Chips and salsa are good, but it would be better if they made the chips in-house out of tortillas so they are thick and really crunchy, but that is just my personal taste. I went in to Rincon for dinner. First we got chips, salsa and some bean dip (for free). I ordered a bowl of tortilla soup,which was fantastic in my opinion. My boyfriend ordered a delicious plate called Tampiquena (large portion). Would definitely recommend it!
I went out to eat with my boyfriend who wanted to try Rincon Del Sol. We go to the restaurant and were seated. We were given a menu and a bowl of chips. We looked over the menu and I quickly noticed how expensive it was. They charged over $10 for a vegetarian burrito. When we decided what we were going to eat, we waited for our waitress to come back.
