Despite her edit, no, she was greedy and ignored what I called asking for. I paid her $250 consult fee, which makes me a customer. During the consult, I felt Riley didn’t listen to why I was contacting her: to make harassment stop with a response letter. I didn’t call her to see how much money I could make out of the situation. If she had actually listened to my needs during the consult, she could have advised me then and there that I needed a time based payment solution for a response letter and she doesn’t do that.
I too have been ghosted (twice) by this firm. They were very prompt in collecting an initial fee, but had virtually no follow up. I was I left to wonder if they would take my case. They had never refused, just failed to respond. Reading the reviews, it’s seems like perhaps smile clients are not desired by this firm. Beyond disappointed.
I had high hopes, but disorganization and exorbitant fees set my expectations. We had a consultation with Molly, who was 10 minutes late. The meeting was scheduled for 11am via zoom, but it was supposed to be 10am. So, I called the office to ensure we wouldn't get missed. My first experience with an employment attorney, I consulted with Molly and she was great! Knew the applicable laws, provided the information I needed to navigate through, and I then negotiated to resolution with my previous employer. I would definitely refer this firm!
