Best shop I have ever taken my car!!!!!!!!! – I have an older car that has seen many road trips and at this point needs some love and TLC. Riley Automotive has completely blown my mind with their EXCELLENT customer service and repair!!! While the ownership of the shop has changed in the last couple of years, the QUALITY HAS NOT!!!!!! Wow! An Honest Mechanic!!!! – Finally an honest mechanic! I have been going here for about 10 years and would never consider going anywhere else. My last trip was for a brake issue, screaming breaks! I went in and guess what I didn't need a complete brake job. Really, I can have my car fixed and it doesn't require a complete brake job? Wow! Don't avoid Riley's – Funny. I took my mazda to Riley's for a rear main seal that was leaking and they put a new one in. Within a couple weeks it started leaking. I took it back and they replaced it with a dealer part and it has never leaked since. They don't make the parts there and if there is ever a problem, they take care of it. I have been going there for almost 9 years now and that is the only thing that has ever gone wrong. It's unfortunate that someone would leave them such a bad review. I highly recommend them.
Avoid Riley's – I have gone there for years, and Mr. Riley always gave great, reasonably priced service. Yet in the last few months, my son got a poor brake job there, and when I towed my daughter's car there needing a timing belt and oil seals, (I, too, have been a "facilities" mechanic at Kelco & Kaiser for a total, so far, of 23 years,) within two weeks the oil seal leaked and undid the work they performed. As for his son's "poor" brake job, the truck came in on a tow truck and his son had started the job already. All the lug nuts had been cross threaded. We had to replace all the wheel studs and lug nuts. The front rotors were in such bad shape that the hub assemblies had to be replaced as well. The brakes were perfect when the truck was finished. As far as his daughter's car, any time there is a defective part it is completely "under warranty" and we will fix it at no charge.
Riley Automotive II – Sadly Jesses mother has passed. And haveing crossed a number of milestones, Mr. Jesse Riley is no longer proprieter of Jesse Riley Automotive. 5 years of acquired communications skills, carefully contrived and always groomed and ready to serve some useful end are gone. The new 'operators' may or may not be to your individual likeing. Just keep in mind Jesse is well on his way to retirement where we all wish him the best of everything. We love you Jesse and thanks for everything. Im going to miss you.
