Good choice A great sushi house for any area. The staff are very attentive and pleasant and it wasn't crazy crowded and overbearing, although I haven't been there during their dinner hours. The fish was fresh and incredibly tasty, especially the toro. The rolls are even great here. The prices are reasonable, as well.
Good quality and fresh seafood – The food here seemed to be of very high quality and was very flavorful. We ordered both cooked entrees as well as sushi and were impressed with the freshness of the fish that was used. The beef in the beef teriyaki was tender and wasn't overly sweet or salty, and the sushi was clean and well prepared.

Amazing sushi!! – Hiro's - a neighborhood restaurant on College Ave. near Broadway - has become our favorite sushi place. Flawlessly delicious fish, every single piece. Standard nigiri / rolls with some we haven't seen elsewhere, like butterfish caramelized briefly with a blowtorch. The chef is a co-owner, and he adds a personal touch to a lot of dishes that might seem standard.
