I ordered a 12 inch helical cutter jointer through woodcraft, it arrived damaged, the Cutterhead guard was broken and not usable, Woodcraft walked me through what to do, I wrote extensive email with pics and sent it to woodcraft, they made contact with rikon and they got the parts shipped via FedEx the same day. I also have a Rikon band saw, I have had a great experience using these tools, and great experience getting my parts replaced. I'd recommend woodcraft and rikon to anyone. Good equipment and good people.
Extremely impressed with their customer service/warrantee support. I had an issue with the speed controller on my lathe. After a pleasant and helpful phone call with an actual human being (imagine that- a company where people answer phones!) they sent out a replacement part free of charge. From phone call to delivery was less than 24 hours (granted, I live in the Boston area, but still . . .).
Bought a Rikon 70-3040 lathe, with accessories last December, and couldn’t be happier. A very well built machine and perfect for limited space. I can keep the bed short or extend it, if needed. I bought the wheels to make it easy to turn lengthwise. Had the RPM indicator display erroneous readings and contacted Rikon. They were very helpful.
