I wanna say the two best cooks I've had in a long time was Marcel and the new cook Adan from fox creek catering cnrl ensign 770. I just wanted to put my two cents in. Been here 11 months n happy with cooking staff
I've been a long term guest at their CNRL camp near Fox Creek. The camp staff are the highlight of the stay. When you work in these camps it's super important to be able to count on your food day in and day out. Having camp staff that respect when you're on night shift and do what they can to accommodate your rest is huge too. Any issues that have been brought forward are dealt with in a professional manner and prevents any unnecessary drama. It's a home away from home and I appreciate all their efforts in making it that.
Great company, great people, great hospitality
I've been staying at the Right Choice camp for the last few years outside of Fox Creek that supported Chevron before and now CNRL. Marcel the lead onsite and the other staff have done a fantastic job. Meals are great, camp is clean & safe, and the housekeeping very impressive. Being away from home for 2 weeks every month is made easier because of this group of professionals.
My experience working here was mixed. On the positive side, I appreciated the consistent pay and the opportunity to gain industry experience. However, I noticed that treatment of staff sometimes depended on personal relationships with management, which impacted fairness. Communication from the office team could also be improved. This review reflects my personal experience and is intended to provide constructive feedback.
