I wish to share our family's appreciation for the staff at Right at Home Care Hamilton. We needed someone to visit our elderly parents weekly to be our "eyes on the ground". My parents formed a close bond with one staff member who came twice weekly for over a year. He was kind, reliable, completely trustworthy, and cared for my parents as if they were his own. Dont hire these folks. They say they will do basic care for your loved ones but of the 24hr care we hired, 2 of them willing to listen and help. Im a retired RN and was willing to teach them and in fact had to but extreme language barriers. Hard to communicate with staff and not sure if they comprehended what we were trying to communicate. This is all basic things they should know from school. There are many other companies available. They worked for us for 2.5 weeks Autumn of 2024. We have since hired another company. John from Right at Home has taken a family member who is in long-term care to Hospital appointments on a number of occasions. John has been compassionate and gentle but at the same time prompt and efficient. I would highly recommend Right at Home. The service they provide is invaluable! Thank you John and Tracey.
