I do not have enough good words to describe how I feel about Right At Home @ Pensacola, the ladies in the office, and the caregivers. Their service took care of my mom (94 w/dementia) 5 days a week, 12 hrs. a day, in her ALF for 4 years. Yes, 4 years and it was worth every penny! My mom's primary care doctor recommended this agency. They seemed fine over the phone, and we had April come out for a home study. My sister was impressed with Arpil, who seemed like a "get it done" person. Unfortunately, although April promised to email information to move to the next step, there was no follow-through. I called the agency and also called April directly. Our call was interrupted by one she had to take, and she promised to call be back. We never heard back from April or anyone at this agency. Where should I start? Dependable? Not at all. If I were to no call no show at work I wouldn’t have a job, yet it happens all the time with this company. Trained staff? Nope! I should not have to explain how to wash dishes. Yet I had to explain that the sink needs to be filled with warm/hot water. Not just use a wet sponge and COLD water. Keeping my grandmother hydrated has also proven to be too hard of a task, or changing her clothes or depends.
