I'm updating this from a previous post. RifleGear did an outstanding job of taking the time to research an issue and called me back with a update on what happened. That is a level of customer service that you don't get at many places. They have great prices and customer service and should be on your list of places to visit.
I'm from NJ so this place is like fantasy land for me. I don't remember the name of the gentleman I spoke to but he was great. I told him where I was from and that I wouldn't be purchasing anything that day but possibly in the future. He was happy to show me a handfull of rifles I was interested in and explained to me a little of the buying process. I bought a shell carrier for one of my shotguns just to support the store. Nice experience. will definitely be back.
My wife, Annette K. Sonnen had a terrible experience here. She went (alone) to purchase a blank lower receiver for her rifle. The rep she spoke with was Tyler. He was extremely condescending and "interrogated her" as though she was inept or had criminal intent in the purchase. I would not advise any women to shop here based on the poor customer service my wife received. We will pursue our firearm business elsewhere.
Single worst customer service experience from any gun shop. They refused to receive the transfer of a pistol which had been stippled by the best known company in the country that does work on Glocks. There’s no ATF requirement for the basis of their refusal, they refused it based on a “company decision”. One call later to another well known gun store in Plano, and they laughed when I told them why Rifle Gear refused it, and basically validated that RG’s reason was BS. The pistol will be sent to them.
