They have many great employees, but management is a disgrace from corporate to store directors they now put in place. I loved my job, my store level supervisors, and so many co workers; however, the infighting at corporate is disgraceful. Grandma would beat them for how they treated some of my bosses.
I've been shopping at Riesbeck's for over 40 years. I have always found the stores to be very clean and orderly and the employees to be friendly and helpful. I have just started to use the online shopping. I love this service. It is so easy to use. You simply sit at your computer and take your time and pick what you want. When your list is finished pick a date and time you want it. Arrive at the store, call the number on the sign and within a couple minutes your order is in you vehicle. Just had my small thanksgiving dinner and everything was delicious. The Turkey breast was juicy and tender, sweet potatoes were perfect corn and stuffing was made to perfection. Thank you for an excellent meal.
I love our Cambridge Riesbecks! Everything is always fresh and clean. The staff are very accommodating. I only buy my meats there and now sushi. Yum!
You must check the expiration date of every item you buy in this store (New Concord), and the produce is terrible--I can't tell you how many times I've wasted money by buying apples & cantaloupes, only to cut them open when I get home and find them rotten. The only thing I buy in the New Concord store now is bread, milk, birthday cakes, eggs, and sale items, and only before I check dates carefully on them first.
They have the best foods. I want to be in the competition of the French fries.
