We had or wedding here on 2•28•2026 and it was the best experience! All the staff did such an amazing job at making our dream a reality! Zero regrets in choosing them to be a huge part of our special day!🤍💍
I don’t even know where to begin. There’s no doubt the venue itself is so pretty however they did not do what I had asked of them. Joan is terrible at communicating I would try to text and call about details and nothing for months .She didn’t get back to me until a week before the weeding and I had booked the venue a year in advanced. As the mother of the bride (Kiley Vonlintel) I thought my daughter’s wedding was absolutely wonderful!! The bride, groom and all parents live out of state so we had to rely heavily on Joan to coordinate everything. She did a fantastic job, and even scrambled to move the ceremony outside when the fear of rain subsided at the last minute. Thank you Joan and staff for helping make all my daughter’s dreams come true!!
This venue was soooo amazing!!! We were able to get married by the river and our ceremony was GORGEOUS!! Joan decorated, coordinated all the vendors, and made our day go so smoothly. She pulled it off wonderfully!! I’m so so happy that we decided to have our wedding here. I HIGHLY recommend using Joan and Ridgewood event center. She even found a photographer for us at a great price (Mikayla) and she did soo good. Joan also got us a great deal on shuttles to bring people from Durango out to Hesperus. Our wedding at ridgewood last year was beautiful and turned out to be the perfect day, but this was entirely thanks to the wonderful team of vendors and the planner we hired and in spite of Joan. We were given the advice early on by previous brides who had worked with Joan to hire outside vendors and a planner due to her ineptitude, shadiness and mismanagement.
