To Whom It May Concern, I am submitting this formal complaint to document concerns I observed regarding patient care, safety, and staffing practices at Ridgewood Addiction Services during my time as a patient. During my stay, I observed multiple situations that raised concerns about patient supervision and medication administration. Finished my 7 day treatment here today as a first timer. Came in beyond anxious on my first day, and didn't know what to expect but I don't think I could have had a better experience. I've met about a handful of the staff, and every single one of them was beyond kind and supportive. I'm now 7 days alcohol free. Thank you to all the staff for helping make this possible.
I need a question answered. I have been on clonazepam since my early 20s now I'm almost 44 if I go to ridgewood for help will they allow me to take my medication because if not no sense even going there I need help but my medication is what makes me able to sleep at night and calm my anxiety if they don't allow meds like that tgere tgere is no way I'm going to go to Ridgewood for clonazepam either no thanks does anyone know? I am now 2 years sober and not a day goes by that I am not grateful to everyone who helped me to get where I am today. Jean, the staff, the nurses, the custodians, the kitchen staff and the patients I spent 7 days with. If you are reading this and you are sick and frightened half to death to make that call, I was you. If you knew me back then, you knew I couldn't do this, I wasn't strong enough, I was too sick, I couldn't leave my home for a week, I couldn't live without alcohol (what was the point in that) I couldn't spend ... read more
They booted me out because they were understaffed and couldn’t deal with me. Do not recommend this rehab facility.
