The purpose of this review is to inform other horse owners of my experience, so they can avoid faulty ultrasounds, misdiagnoses, and unnecessary follow-up appointments. When my horse went lame I automatically called Ridgeview, my primary equine vet practice. They ultrasounded his leg, and diagnosed that he had an over-stretched ligament with a lesion.
