I gave birth to both my babies here, one in 2021 and the other 4 months ago in February. It was important for me that they were born here as I was a ridgeview baby and my mom actually was too (back when it was Waconia hospital). Both times were spectacular but this last round really stood out. I had a scheduled induction at 9pm, they were completely swamped with unplanned babies & almost canceled on me. Delivered both babies here. Fantastic team of providers and excellent safe clean comfortable facilities. The nurses make this place so special!

I chose Ridgeview labor and delivery for the birth of my 3rd child. It was not as good of an experience as it was when I gave birth pre-covid. My stay was well after the pandemic had ended though. Here's why: the nursery is closed, so baby's vitals had to be checked every couple hours in your room. Basically about the time I finally fell asleep each check. There is much more hustle and bustle in your room after delivery because the bath and hearing test is now completed in your room instead of outside of it. I was not prepar... read more
