It has been four months since our baby was born, and I still feel deeply grateful for the entire team at Western OBGYN and Ridgeview Medical Center – Birthing Center. I cannot say enough good things about my birth experience here. I came in with a birth plan and they did their best to follow it. They communicated with me thoroughly and I really got to make informed decisions over my birth. It was serene and peaceful from labor, to birth, and post partum. Nurses gave me space and privacy, and prioritized my rest. I truly believe a womans experience in childbirth shapes her mental wellbeing afterwards and I did feel amazing thanks to the expedience I got to have here.
Honestly could not have asked for a better experience. We had incredible nurses all the way from labor and delivery (extra shoutout to Kristen - she was amazing, especially as I'm a first time mom) to our postpartum care (extra shoutout to Savanna - SUCH a natural with infants, and really showed extra care and thoroughness in *every interaction). Would highly recommend, and will be happy to come here again for our next child! Thank you all!!
If we could rate 6 stars, we would! The entire staff deserves praise but especially Kayla, Kim, D. Donna, Jade, Theresa and our midwife Sarah L. for the care and help with my wife delivering our first baby. Top tier experience; a great mix of comfortable rooms, attentive and patient staff, and very helpful information from start to finish. We highly recommend this facility and hope we are lucky enough to be back with future children. Thank you all so much 🙏
I gave birth to both my babies here, one in 2021 and the other 4 months ago in February. It was important for me that they were born here as I was a ridgeview baby and my mom actually was too (back when it was Waconia hospital). Both times were spectacular but this last round really stood out. I had a scheduled induction at 9pm, they were completely swamped with unplanned babies & almost canceled on me.
