i came last night but left because it was so busy. I was very impressed that I received a followup appointment with a promise to be seen as soon as we got there. I almost did not go because I felt they were going to be busy again. When I got there with my son it was busy again but the lady that called me came out in twenty minutes. I COULD NOT WAIT TO STOP WORKING HERE. DO NOT TAKE YOUR FAMILY HERE. THEY ACCPET PATIENTS THEN THE NURSES AND TECH REFUSE TO TAKE THEM. THEN THEY GIVE YOU DRY BAG SANDWICHES. PEOPLE HAVE STAYED IN THE WAITING DEPARTMENT 24 HOURS BECAUSES NURSES WILL NOT TAKE THEM. THEY CUT STAFF SAYING NOT MEETING EXPECTED CENSUS PUTTING PATIENTS THAT ARE THERE AND STAFF AT RISK. My daughter is there now. I have been trying to be added as emergency contact to be involved in her care since she was admitted. I have a custody battle with court documents showing my rights. No one will listen. I have come with the police on several occasions. Thursday and Friday the Access supervisor identified herself as Marisa was very rude and disrespectful. I concur that if I could give negative stars I would. You get admitted and no one tells you ANYTHING. But staff also get extremely annoyed with you for asking too many questions. At best they are contrarian and condescending, at worst they actively antagonize patients until the patients act out and they are wrestled and sedated. The ICU unit was continuously running out of water for the patients multiple times a day for at least an hour each time. That unit in particular is downright criminal. i gave it a 1 star,i wished i could gave it no stars,if you have kids,this is not the place for them,this Hospital is the WORST,my daughter is 12 years old ,she was recommended from my local hospital to go there on on Nov 30th, we sent her their,it was the worst mistake we ever made,someone called the first day and told us she was getting evaluated and no ever called us the seven days she was there,no Doctor or nurse,we went to the visitation that Saturday,and the the 2 ladies that was at the front desk was the most rudest p... read more

I wish I could choose no stars. My 75 yr old father was near death when we were finally able to see him. The doctor did not contact us nor could we get through to a doctor for 2 weeks. After we showed our anger at his condition they released him to an ER that night and he was admitted. A hospital worker said it happens all the time. He had been heavily sedated the entire time and he had pneumonia. Send only enemies there!!

This place is strictly about money! I would not bring anyone that you care about to this facility. The staff don't help those in need, they judge those in need and speak down to their clients (they call them patients). The staff that are supposed to help these individuals, actually do not have any empathy or compassion for the clientele. People come to RI for a myriad of reasons seeking help and they do not receive it. They actually use co-ed housing to house their clientele.The place has absolutely NO STRUCTURE!!! Do not take your loved one here! The entire staff is rude and cold. There is little to no communication and they are violating my HYPPA rights but not giving me copy of the paperwork that was signed or access to my daughters chart. I am in a fight to get her out and so far they are refusing even with the police at my side. worst thing I ever could have done was take her here.

If only I could give negative stars. DO NOT take anyone you care about here. Ridgeview is about getting insurance money & drugging people.
