I purchased my first plane through RidgeAire about 3 weeks ago. Worked mostly with Jacob on the deal. We had the benefit of a pre-buy that had recently been done on the plane and a fairly recent annual. Jacob was upfront and honest and if he didn't know the answer to a question he got the answer for me quickly. There were a couple repairs we asked to have done prior to the purchase based on the pre-buy and those were accomplished quickly. Run away! The broker has been acting suspiciously from the start, and I should have seen the warning signs. I placed a $19,000 escrow deposit, but the broker signed as the seller, despite not being the legal owner. When the finance team informed them that the legal owner needed to sign, they claimed that they were buying the plane from the owner and would sell it to me to simplify the process.
